Pastors Larry & Donna Davis founded Grace & Faith Center in 2020.
They have both been involved in business their entire adult lives. Larry owned several businesses predominately in the oil and gas sector. Donna was in public accounting for 35 years and then, together, they were involved in the operation of oil and gas ventures for 12 years.
Larry and Donna were married in 1984 and they have a blended family – his, hers and ours. They have 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren.
Please come and let us get to know you.
Grace is God's plan and His part for us to know all that He has for us.
Faith is God's plan and our part to receive and activate those promises and blessings.
It is by God's grace and not by our status, ability or deeds that we are saved by faith.
We go from a sinner which equals "death" to a born-again believer which equals "eternal life"
and we don’t have to wait to get to heaven to experience a victorious life – we can live victoriously right now on
earth.
As Believers, our inheritance is that we deal with every circumstance not through our own natural abilities or understanding, being built to operate by faith in God.
God has given us all the provisions to make it. The provisions are found in His Word. God is faithful and He promises never to leave or forsake us. Yes! We can depend on Him! Trust God with our life and we will always be on the right path.
The Bible gives two specific reasons for committing to be a part of a close-knit family of believers – that we would be encouraged and that we would encourage others.
Hebrews 10:24-25
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
God designed the church to be the place where we would receive His glory, power and anointing needed to dominate amid dangerous and perilous times. With this goal in mind, advancing the Kingdom of God, the Bible calls believers to love, encourage and stimulate one another to fight the “Good Fight of Faith” until Jesus returns.
This Body of Believers is empowered to stand on behalf of cultures and nations and see them transformed and become citizens of the Kingdom of God.
Faith begins with knowledge of the Word. On Sunday mornings, we allow the Holy Spirit to operate as we praise and worship God in several ways; in music and song, in communion - remembering the death and resurrection of Jesus as we receive His finished works, in tithes and offerings and in the teaching and preaching of His Word.
Come join us and be a part of this Family of God.
The Grace & Faith Center campus consists of three buildings and covering almost 2-acres, located on the south frontage road of State Highway 199, also known as the Jacksboro Highway, near the Tenderfoot exit between Azle and Lake Worth, Texas.
What is now known as the sanctuary was originally a mechanic/tire shop. The admin/children’s building was the original sanctuary of “Soul Harbor Church.” They eventually purchased the shop and renovated that building to become their new sanctuary. At some point, a portable building was moved in the back, between the two. All of the buildings, later became known as “Safe Harbor Childcare.” Grace & Faith Center purchased this property in December, 2020 and we have renovated the buildings in order to support the work of the Church. During our renovation of the sanctuary building, we removed and rebuilt areas. We found board after board with scriptures from the Word written on them. When talking to previous members of “Soul Harbor Church”, we found that the Church body had prayed over every board used to update the old mechanic/tire shop into their sanctuary. In addition, we were told that they had buried an open Bible in the foundation of the new front door unit, signifying that everyone in or out would be walking on the Word. Little did they know, that those many years ago, they were preparing this property to become Grace & Faith Center. We carry the legacy of their courage and boldness to establish this property for the Lord Jesus Christ.
On Pentecost Sunday, May 23, 2021, Grace & Faith Center conducted its first public meeting. Founded as a nondenominational church, its emphasis is on the Truth of God’s Word. The foundation for the spiritual life of Grace & Faith Center includes sound doctrine, spiritual leadership and active service of the members. We are convinced that God’s legacy of faithfulness to us will continue in the future as we purpose to remain faithful to Him and His Word.
Allow Glory, Grace, Mercy, Favor and Justice to reign as we dominate and rise up as an army that will advance the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
Creation of an opportunity for unbelievers to see and experience, believers, operating in the fullness of the blessings of God, to include; divine healing, supernatural prosperity, the God kind of love and peace, fulfillment of God’s Word and call on their lives by dependence on the power of the Holy Spirit; so that they, the unbelievers, become excited to come into the Kingdom of God.
Bring growth and maturity to the Body of Christ, learning of His plan for our lives to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers and ambassadors for the Kingdom of God.
